A mere 10 minute walk or 5 minute cycle ride away is the Stratford upon Avon Greenway.
The Greenway is a five mile section of what was the old Honeybourne railway line, closed in 1976. The route has been developed by Warwickshire County Council since 1989, working in partnership with Sustrans, to produce a high quality surfaced path suitable for cyclists, walkers and wheelchair users. With its views of the Cotswolds, this is an ideal and safe, traffic free environment for everyone.
On the First and Third Sundays of each month throughout the year there are organised rides where everyone is welcome. They usually start at the American Memorial in Stratford-upon-Avon Market Place at 0930 - just turn up and join in!
